John Troost leverages his extensive litigation experience to provide clients with thorough advice on difficult legal problems.  John focuses his practice on commercial litigation, including complex corporate and business disputes, class action defense, fiduciary litigation, and appellate matters.  He also handles government enforcement actions and consumer finance litigation.  John understands all the ways to approach a matter, and his true talent is not being afraid to give you candid advice about your case’s strengths and weaknesses.

Prior to joining Shulman Rogers, John was an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of a national law firm, where he focused on complex commercial litigation.  He received his law degree, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, and earned his B.A. in economics from Yale University.
