The FCC has responded to a request from NPSTC to extend the deadline from January 1, 2011 until January 1, 2013 for manufacturing wideband equipment in the 150 and 450 MHz Part 90 radio bands. However, the Commission declined to extend the deadline for applications for new wideband systems, or for expanding existing wideband systems.
