Mr. Kramer is a shareholder in the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Group and co-chair of the Homebuilder Real Estate Transactions Group, specializing in real estate transactions, particularly acquisitions.  He is experienced in drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts, amendments, agreements and security documents relating to the purchase of real estate by home builders.  As part of assisting builders in all areas relating to their acquisition of property, Mr. Kramer is also responsible for the review and revision of documents relating to the purchase and sale of property, lender documents and documents relating to the formation of homeowner associations.

Prior to joining Shulman Rogers, Mr. Kramer was a sole practitioner in Montgomery County where he worked primarily with individual clients in the areas of residential real estate matters as well as wills, trusts and probate.  He also assisted small businesses in corporate formations, writing, reviewing and drafting agreements and negotiating leases.

Mr. Kramer’s first career was at the inception of the microcomputer era where he designed, sold, installed and trained government and corporate customers on computers, local area networks and software.

Mr. Kramer earned a B.A. in Economics from Yeshiva University and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.  He is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.
