The Shulman Rogers Real Estate team was pleased to play a part in the Commonwealth of Virginia’s recently announced plans to advance its clean energy initiatives – and power state government buildings with renewable energy.
Virginia has partnered with Dominion Energy to buy renewable energy, which will come from new wind and solar projects located around the state. The hope is that by 2022, 30 percent of the electricity used by state agencies and institutions in Virginia will come from renewable sources.
