Kudos to Shulman Rogers’ client, Tino’s Pizzeria, located in northwest DC, for their ingenuity in the midst of the coronavirus crisis. We have been so impressed by our many clients and friends who have adapted their businesses to survive and thrive in the current climate.
Responding to the community’s desire for safe dining and entertainment options during the COVID-19 pandemic, Tino’s has found a way to add value to their already delicious offerings.
When their Cleveland Park neighbor, the Uptown Movie Theatre, went out of business, Tino’s applied for and was granted an extended food and beverage license to use the patio in front of the theatre for additional seating.
To pay homage to the Uptown, Tino’s now offers Movie Nights on Wednesdays and Fridays starting at 8:30pm — seating guests on the Uptown’s patio – and entertaining them with movies shown on an outdoor screen.
Tables are socially distanced and the kitchen will remain open until the movies are over.
