Shulman Rogers’ Medical Malpractice attorneys, Karl Protil and DJ Carswell, recently secured a $1.94 million verdict in the wrongful death case of a 46-year-old man in Prince George’s County, Maryland. Symptoms of a blood clot were missed by medical staff on multiple occasions after the decedent was seen for injuries resulting from an ATV accident.
This case was a retrial of a 2 week jury trial that hung and was declared a mistrial. After 2 hours, the Prince George’s County Circuit Court jury returned a $1.94 million verdict.
