Platform will kick off with Investor Showcase, sponsored by Capital Raise and Deloitte
Park Potomac, Maryland – April 24, 2023 – NEXT powered by Shulman Rogers, has launched NEXT RAISE, a platform that facilitates direct connections between founders and funders within the regional and national startup ecosystem. Startups can apply to attend the first-ever Seed to Series A Investor Showcase Event on June 1, 2023 at Shulman Rogers offices in Park Potomac in partnership with Capital Raise and Deloitte.
“NEXT RAISE is a natural extension of our commitment to our mission of ‘Empowering Startup Success’,” said Anthony Millin, Founder and Co-Chair of NEXT. “Supporting founders and startups as a whole to be investor ready has always been a core focus of our work, and we’re proud to support the critical need for sufficient funding from a like-minded investor within the startup ecosystem.”
NEXT RAISE will facilitate direct connections between investor-ready founders and investment-seeking funders. With this program, NEXT can formally introduce their investor network to selected seed to Series A startups from across the country that are qualified and prepared to grow and scale. The Showcase is limited to Seed to Series A founders actively raising a round and accredited funders. Attendees will enjoy two panel discussions with leading regional and national VCs and angel groups. Applications are required to attend.

NEXT RAISE investors will select startups for one-on-one meetings prior to the main event on June 1st from 1:30 to 3:30pm. Investor ready startups must apply by May 5th to participate in the event, and will be notified by May 17th if they’ve been selected to attend or for 1:1 NEXT Raise investor meetings.
