FCC Issues Declaratory Ruling Establishing Timeframes For State & Localities To Process Wireless Tower Applications

On November 19, 2009, the FCC issued a Declaratory Ruling stating that municipalities have deadlines of 90 days (for collocations) and 150 days (for all tower siting applications) to be reviewed by applicable state and local governments. It is the FCC’s goal to speed the implementation of broadband access nationwide.
