Employment Roundtable: Avoiding the “Weinstein Effect”

November 15, 2017

Avoiding the “Weinstein Effect”

Now that multiple women have come forward accusing Harvey Weinstein of sexual harassment, many other women—and men too—have come forward bringing allegations of sexual harassment against their employers and co-workers. Among others, Michael Oreskes (NPR), Kevin Spacey, Mark Halperin (MSNBC), and Bill O’Reilly (FOX), together with the companies with which they are affiliated, have come under fire. And, these claims are not limited to high-profile public figures. Employers across the country are grappling with new and re-visited allegations about hostile work environments as more and more alleged victims come forward with their claims.

Please join us on December 5, 2017, as we discuss the most effective ways to avoid harassment allegations and what you should do if a concern is reported. Merry Campbell, Co-Chair of Shulman Rogers’ Employment Law Group, will lead the discussion and provide practical advice.
