As reported in Daily Bankruptcy Review today, The Healthy Back Store LLC, a Maryland-based retailer of Herman Miller chairs and Tempur-Pedic mattresses, filed Wednesday for chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
According to their lawyer Michael J. Lichtenstein, of the law firm of Shulman Rogers Gandal Pordy & Ecker, the chain, based in Beltsville, Md., outside of Washington, D.C., intends to sell its 10 stores at a bankruptcy auction.
