Confidential Settlement in Motorcycle Accident Case in Montgomery County, Maryland

Shulman Rogers is pleased to announce a confidential settlement obtained on behalf of our client injured in a motorcycle crash. Our client was operating his motorcycle properly when a negligent driver failed to yield the right of way and drove into his path, causing a serious collision.  Our client was ejected from his Harley-Davidson motorcycle and transported to the hospital by ambulance. He suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured scapula in his upper body and an open tibia-fibula fracture to his left leg. This was so severe that the leg was in danger of amputation. He required surgery and fixation of the leg. After a long period of rehabilitation, the leg was saved, and he was lucky to have survived this serious incident. Our client was unable to work during this time, and in addition to his medical damages, he sustained lost wages as well.

This preventable collision involved several insurance policies. This favorable confidential settlement was reached after our client reached maximum medical improvement, and after investigation and negotiation with two different insurance companies.
