Kali Fields is dedicated to guiding clients through the most challenging moments of their lives with compassion, clarity and tenacity.
As an associate with the firm’s Family Law group, Kali helps individuals and families navigate the complexities of family law, keeping their goals and well-being at the forefront. In her practice, she assists clients with matters including divorce, custody, child support, spousal support, property distribution and guardianship. She draws on her strong research and advocacy skills to craft thoughtful strategies for her clients, ensuring they feel informed and supported at every stage.
Before joining Shulman Rogers full-time, Kali worked as a Summer Law Clerk with the firm. She also gained experience as a legal intern with the Neighborhood Legal Services Program, assisting clients facing family-related challenges, and as a legislative aid for Montgomery County Government. Earlier in her career, she worked with Venn Strategies, giving her valuable insight into the intersection of law, government and advocacy.
Kali earned her J.D. and a certificate in Law and Public Policy from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, where she was active in the law school community and engaged in programs focusing on public service and legal access. She received her B.A. in Political Science from Clemson University.
When she’s not practicing law, Kali enjoys giving back to her community, spending time with family and friends and exploring new restaurants in the D.C. area.
