Shulman Rogers Guides Ambit RD Through Full Corporate Journey, From Formation to $100 Million Sale to Danforth
POTOMAC, MD, September 22, 2026 — Shulman Rogers is proud to have represented Ambit RD, Inc. across its full corporate lifecycle, from company formation in 2021 through its $100 million sale to Danforth Health in 2026. The engagement began with the firm’s SR NEXT startup practice and grew over five years to include general corporate counsel, employment matters, financing rounds, and ultimately the M&A transaction that closed the sale.
“When we started Ambit, we needed a high-quality, affordable model for all the company setup, including incorporation, equity, and employment agreements,” said Rob Sederman, CEO of Ambit. “The NEXT approach fit our needs extremely well, and the broader Shulman Rogers team was able to add capabilities as we needed them through our successful exit. Shulman Rogers has been a very valuable partner through all the challenges we faced in a high-growth, five-year evolution from bootstrapped startup to a successful exit.”
Anthony Millin of SR NEXT advised Ambit from its earliest days, including its initial formation, a Series A financing round, and the ongoing corporate and employment matters that came with scaling the business. The Ambit engagement reflects a model Shulman Rogers has built deliberately through SR NEXT: supporting companies at every stage, from formation through scaling to exit, so clients have a consistent, trusted partner no matter how their business evolves or how large the eventual outcome.
When it came time to close the sale, the Shulman Rogers M&A team was led by Shareholder Aaron Ghais and included Eric Kurtz, Keith Marshall, Hunter Haines, TJ Wilkinson, Joy Einstein, Angad Kanwal, and Claire Allenbach.
“I am proud to have led the Shulman Rogers M&A team on Ambit RD’s $100 million sale to Danforth,” said Ghais. “Rob and Ned built something of great value in the biopharma solutions space, and it was an honor to help get this deal across the finish line.”
