Sean Sherman has been a shareholder at Shulman Rogers since 2000 and is widely known among home builders and land developers for resolving complex disputes quickly and cost-effectively. He serves clients both as outside general counsel and as litigation and dispute avoidance counsel.
Sean’s practice centers on new home warranty disputes, condominium construction defect claims, and multi-million dollar land development disputes. He has helped builders resolve hundreds of condominium defect and new home warranty cases before they reached litigation, and has similarly resolved hundreds of land development disputes through both litigation and pre-litigation resolution.
In addition to litigation, Sean advises homebuilder clients on real estate transactions and documentation with an eye toward avoiding disputes down the road.
Sean graduated from Princeton University in 1982 with a B.A. in politics and earned his J.D. from Howard University School of Law, graduating first in his class.
