Hope (Gouterman) Fricke is a real estate attorney who advises property owners, landlords, tenants, investors, and developers on commercial real estate transactions locally and throughout the United States. Her practice spans the full life cycle of commercial real estate assets, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, development, management, and leasing. She has particular depth in structuring and negotiating complex lease transactions and advising on data center development.
Hope earned her J.D. magna cum laude from The Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law, along with a Certificate in Law and Public Policy. In law school, she served as a Lead Articles Editor of the Catholic University Law Review, competed on the Mock Trial Team, and externed for the Honorable Andrea M. Leahy of the Appellate Court of Maryland. She earned her B.S. and M.Ed. from the University of Maryland and was Captain of the Varsity Women’s Soccer Team. Before law school, she taught in at a Title I elementary school and coached varsity soccer in Montgomery County.
Hope is admitted to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia.
