Shulman Rogers Celebrates CTF’s 44th Student-Built Home
Shulman Rogers was proud to attend the Montgomery County Students Construction Trades Foundation (CTF) celebration of its 44th student-designed and student-built home, held at the property in Silver Spring.
Over the past two years, students from Thomas Edison High School of Technology and Seneca Valley High School collaborated through Montgomery County Public Schools’ Career and Technical Education programs to design and build a single-family home from the ground up. The finished home is a testament to their craftsmanship, dedication, and the real-world skills these programs foster.
CTF is a nonprofit foundation established through a cooperative effort between the Montgomery County business community and MCPS to promote career education in the construction industry. The foundation was created 50 years ago by Larry Shulman, one of the firm’s founders. Larry attended the ceremony and was honored with a special 50th-anniversary cake recognizing his contributions to CTF and career education in our community.
The ceremony was led by CTF Supervisor Steven Boden and welcomed distinguished guests, including Dr. Thomas W. Taylor, Superintendent of Montgomery County Public Schools.
Shulman Rogers has supported CTF for decades, and we look forward to continuing that partnership for years to come.
