Successful Counterclaim Against Former Employee Who Sued For Commissions

May 21, 2018

Our client, a real estate brokerage firm, was sued by a former salesperson seeking allegedly unpaid commissions owed to him.  Shulman Rogers’s Employment & Labor Law Practice Group brought a counterclaim alleging that the salesperson had breached his contractual and fiduciary duties to our client.  The Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Maryland entered a judgment in favor of our client which required  the salesperson to pay our client monetary damages.
