Over the past year, Montgomery County Public Schools has been working to establish a new Foundation for Hospitality and Restaurant Management. The county’s school board approved the new foundation on May 14, 2019, and the program will launch July 1, 2019.
The new foundation will work in partnership with the local business community to support high school students studying hospitality, restaurant management and culinary arts. Shulman Rogers’ Founding Partner Larry Shulman serves as one of the local business leaders helping to develop the Foundation for Hospitality and Restaurant Management.
This new foundation serves as the school system’s fourth, joining the existing Automotive, Construction, and Information Technology Foundations in providing career and college readiness opportunities for Montgomery County students.
