POTOMAC, Md., Oct. 22, 2018 — Shulman Rogers is proud to announce that Larry Shulman has been honored as an award winner of the Seventh Annual Simon E. Sobeloff Award.
The Simon E. Sobeloff Law Society was created to provide a social vehicle to network, encourage civility and build camaraderie among attorneys while celebrating their Jewish heritage and Jewish values in the law. The Simon E. Sobeloff Award recognizes attorneys for their outstanding contributions to the legal and Jewish communities.
Larry Shulman is the founding partner of Shulman Rogers. He is a nationally recognized commercial real estate and leasing specialist, lecturer and a fellow of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers. Business owners, real estate professionals, non-profit associations, leaders of educational communities and other organizations turn to him when they need not just a lawyer, but someone who can create consensus, drive change, and solve complicated problems that involve multiple stakeholders.
Larry is a recognized leader in the community. Over the years, he has received innumerable recognition for his legal and professional excellence, as well as his community contributions, particular to public education in Maryland. Among his accolades, he served as the Court-appointed mediator in a 30-year old school desegregation case Vaughns, et al. v. Board of Education of Prince George’s County, et al., was named Washingtonian of the Year by The Washingtonian Magazine and received the 1982 President’s Volunteer Action Award presented by former President Ronald Reagan.
