Estates and Trusts’ Jay Eisenberg named to Bethesda Magazine’s Top Estate Lawyers List

September 18, 2018

POTOMAC, Md., Sept. 18, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Bethesda Magazine has recognized Jay Eisenberg as one of the Metropolitan Washington area’s best Trust & Estate Lawyers. Mr. Eisenberg was included on the Top Estate Lawyers list as a result of a survey of local estate lawyers who were asked who they would hire to write their wills. Mr. Eisenberg was named as a top choice for 2018.

As a member of The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel, he is in the top 1% of estate planning attorneys in the United States. He is also recognized by Best Lawyers, Super Lawyers and Washingtonian Magazine, and he has received the Bethesda Magazine recognition twice in the past seven years.

Mr. Eisenberg credits the success of his practice, in part, to responsiveness and excellent client service. “When working with a client to plan their estate, you are helping them preserve what they have spent their life building,” he said. “This is critically important work, and clients need to know their estate is being handled carefully. Returning phone calls and promptly responding to emails provides that reassurance.”

Mr. Eisenberg leads Shulman Rogers’ Estates and Trusts Department, representing a wide array of individuals, families, entrepreneurs and executives throughout Maryland, Virginia and the District of Columbia. He works closely with Shareholder Patrick Howley, who is recognized in Martindale-Hubbell for his high ethical standards and brings over 23 years of experience to the group.

“We applaud Jay on his well-deserved recognition by Bethesda Magazine,” Shulman Rogers’ Managing Shareholder Sam Spiritos said. “It is a testament to the sophisticated level of personal legal services we offer to all our clients.”
