On December 6, 2012, the Montgomery County Maryland Planning Board approved Camden USA’s Preliminary Plan Amendment to convert density from nonresidential to residential for its mixed use project at the corner of Key West Avenue and Diamondback Drive in the Great Seneca Science Corridor Master Plan Area of Montgomery County, Maryland. The project will develop up to 498,072 SF of multifamily uses and a minimum of 5,000 SF of commercial uses on 7.62 gross acres of CR 2, C 1.5, R 1.5, H 150‑zoned land. The project will be located next to a future Corridor Cities Transitway bus rapid transit station. Shulman Rogers represented Camden USA, the applicant and contract purchaser, and DANAC, the property owner.
