Biography

Patrick Dowling works with national and regional commercial and multi-family residential property owners, management companies, lenders, and brokerage firms on the complex legal disputes that arise in landlord-tenant relationships. Clients benefit from his attention to detail and reliable follow-through. 

In addition to litigation and dispute resolution, Pat advises clients on fair housing compliance and maintaining properties consistent with the requirements for subsidized and low-income units. 

Before joining Shulman Rogers, Pat was an associate at a Montgomery County firm where he counseled credit union clients on commercial and consumer debt disputes. He earned his B.S. in Management from the University of Maryland and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina School of Law. During law school, he served as a judicial intern for the Honorable J. Michelle Childs in the U.S. District Court for the District of South Carolina. Pat is licensed in Maryland and the District of Columbia.
