An associate in the firm’s Wills, Trusts, Estates and Probate practice, Gabrielle “Gabby” Peitsch brings an uncommon combination of tax credentials and estate planning experience to her work with clients throughout the Washington, D.C. region.
Gabby earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served as Treasurer of the Business and Tax Law Association and gained hands-on experience through the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic. She went on to complete her LL.M. in Taxation at the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Her academic foundation in both law and taxation is grounded in a magna cum laude Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee, where she majored in accounting with a concentration in information management and competed as an NCAA Division I student-athlete on the women’s volleyball team.
Before joining Shulman Rogers, Gabby clerked with estate planning practices in the Baltimore area, drafting wills, trusts, advance medical directives, and powers of attorney, and assisting with estate administration, including asset transfers and deed work. She also worked at KPMG’s Washington National Tax group, where she researched complex corporate transactions and advised on federal income tax considerations arising in mergers, acquisitions, and internal restructurings. That technical tax background informs how she approaches planning strategies and the tax and transfer implications that are central to effective estate work.
Gabby is admitted to the Maryland bar.
