Clients depend on Erin August for representation in a wide range of residential and commercial real estate matters throughout Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia. With more than a decade of experience handling settlements, she has extensive knowledge of how the transaction works from start to finish. Erin frequently communicates with clients along the way so they know where they are at every step of their transaction.

Erin is able to distill complicated legal scenarios in a relatable and understandable manner. She skillfully resolves clouds on title with efficiency and has vast experience in short sale and foreclosure transactions. Clients appreciate that she efficiently delivers successful outcomes and that she is always available to respond to their questions and concerns.

Her ability to resolve complicated issues in a positive way led to Erin’s selection as a Pro Bono Settlement Conference Attorney for the District Court of Maryland.  In this capacity, she serves as an impartial party to help participants reach their own voluntary agreement in resolution of all or part of a dispute.

Prior to joining Shulman Rogers, Erin’s practice focused on real property litigation involving trustees’ sales of real property and matters relating to creditors’ rights, title issues, receiverships and landlord-tenant law. Erin earned her B.A. from the University of Maryland and her J.D. cum laude from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and is licensed to practice in Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia.
