Biography

Erin August brings more than a decade of experience to residential and commercial real estate matters across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. She is known for keeping transactions on track and her clients informed at every step. 

Erin handles real estate transactions from start to settlement, with particular strength in resolving title issues, navigating short sales and foreclosures, and managing complex commercial transactions. She conducted the closing on a $40 million commercial foreclosure in the District of Columbia. 

Beyond transactions, Erin handles commercial collections and landlord-tenant matters, consistently achieving favorable settlements. Clients value her ability to take complicated legal situations and present them in plain, actionable terms. 

Erin also serves as a Pro Bono Settlement Conference Attorney for the District Court of Maryland, where she helps parties work through disputes collaboratively. Earlier in her career, she focused on real property litigation including trustees’ sales, creditors’ rights, receiverships, and title disputes, giving her a grounded perspective on the full range of real estate challenges clients face. 

Erin earned her B.A. from the University of Maryland and her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Baltimore School of Law. She is admitted to practice in Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Virginia.
