Shulman Rogers’ Cannabis Group Chair, Scott Museles, to speak at CannaVest East

POTOMAC, Md. (February 10, 2020) Shulman Rogers’ Cannabis Group Chair, Scott Museles has been invited to participate in CannaVest East.  The panel discussion, Investment Opportunities in Legal Cannabis: Early Stage Venture, Later Stage Private Equity, ETFs & SPACs, will take place on February 19, 2020 in Boston, MA.  

CannaVest East is the National Cannabis Industry Association’s annual investment forum for single and multi-family offices, institutional investors and cannabis companies. The event specifically addresses the needs of the institutional investor and sophisticated accredited investor, and will provide an in-depth look into the emerging cannabis industry and show attendees how to evaluate investment returns.

The Early Stage Venture, Later Stage Private Equity, ETFs & SPACs panel, moderated by Cheryl Watson, a Partner at Cohn Reznick, will explore the plethora of ways that investors can access cannabis space. Each investment pathway is unique and has its own set of opportunities and inherent risks. Scott will be joined by the following panelists, each of whom will share their insights and experiences:  Mitch Baruchowitz, Managing Partner at Merida Capital Partners, Robert Corbett, Senior Portfolio Manager at E Squared Capital, Matthew Nordgren, CEO of Arcadian Fund, Vikas Desai, Partner at Welcan Capital, and Olivier Dufourmantelle, COO of Canopy Rivers.
