Maryland State Bar Association presents 2019 Land Use Institute on March 20, 2019

Shulman Rogers’ Land Use and Zoning Chair Tim Dugan will chair the Maryland State Bar Association’s Land Use Institute. On March 20, the day-long event will bring together state officials, judges and attorneys to discuss key updates in land use law and developments in new technologies.
The keynote address, “Revised State Development Plan to Replace Plan Maryland,” will be presented by Wendi Peters, State of Maryland/Office of Smart Growth, and Robert McCord, State of Maryland Department of Planning, Office of the Secretary. The keynote will be followed by a panel of Maryland Court of Appeals and Court of Special Appeals Judges discussing recent appellate decisions.

The day-long program is presented by the MSBA’s Real Property Section and Continuing Legal Education Department, and it will take place at the Sheraton Columbia Town Center Hotel.
