Mark Maier to serve on Blockchain Technology Summit panel

Mark Maier will serve on a panel during the Feb. 20, 2019, Blockchain Technology Summit in Washington D.C. The panel, “Identity: Implications for Identity of Distributed Ledger Technologies,” will explore Decentralized Identifiers. Attendees can expect to learn more about:

  • What problems are DIDs seeking to solve?
  • How are DIDs relevant in the justice information sharing and public safety?
  • What impacts are there for standards and interoperability as well as security?

The inaugural Blockchain Technology Summit, co-sponsored by the IJIS Institute and Microsoft, is an opportunity for executives from federal, state and local government agencies to engage in free-flowing discussion with technology industry leaders on the applicability of blockchain technologies to support agency operations.
