Clifford B. Glover III joins Shulman Rogers to bolster the firm’s Employment and Labor Law Practice.
Dedicated and attentive, Clifford Glover brings insight and knowledge to our Employment and Labor Law Team. He protects his clients’ interests by ensuring that they implement proactive policies that shield them from unnecessary court battles and help them remain in compliance with federal and state regulations.
Cliff focuses largely on the management side of employment litigation and counseling, representing various businesses in state and federal courts throughout Maryland and the District of Columbia. Recognizing that litigation is often a last resort, when necessary, Cliff is a fierce advocate for his clients, with experience litigating matters involving discrimination, sexual harassment, wage and hour claims, non-competition and non-solicitation covenants, and breach of contract.
Cliff is an accomplished writer and is frequently recognized for his ability to succinctly present issues and resolutions. In a recent engagement as outside counsel, Cliff received the following praise from the client: “Frankly, this is one of the better motions I’ve read from any outside counsel. Thank you for your work.”
With a friendly and respectful demeanor, Cliff understands that there is no cookie-cutter approach to employment law matters, and takes the time to understand each client’s goals, tailoring his strategies accordingly. He is extremely responsive and always mindful of how cases can impact a client personally, and makes it a priority to “check-in” with them frequently. Clients often comment on Cliff’s calming influence – his ability to remain even-keeled in the face of stressful proceedings enables them to do so as well.
A native of the Washington, D.C. area, Cliff became an attorney to demystify the legal system for clients and help them successfully navigate their way through it. When he isn’t in the office, Cliff enjoys spending time with his family and hiking. On weekends in the fall, you will likely find him refereeing a high school football game in the D.C. area.
