Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker, P.A. Announces New Shareholders

The law firm of Shulman, Rogers, Gandal, Pordy & Ecker, P.A. is pleased to announce the promotion of Heather L. Howard, Meredith S. Campbell and Ira E. Hoffman to Shareholder.

Heather A. Howard is a shareholder in the firm’s Commercial Litigation Department and focuses her practice on fiduciary litigation matters such as guardianship of adults and minors, elder law and trust and estate litigation as well as a full range of family law matters including complex issues related to business and property valuations, division of marital property and custody and visitation issues.

Ms. Howard graduated from the University of Delaware in 1996 and is a 2000 graduate of University of Baltimore School of Law.  She is a member of the Maryland, District of Columbia and Virginia bars.  Ms. Howard also serves on the Board of Trustees of Hospice Caring, Inc.

Meredith S. Campbell is a shareholder in the Firm’s Employment and Labor Law Practice Group.  Her practice focuses primarily on the representation of management in all phases of employment law, including equal employment litigation, wage and hour litigation, the protection of confidential and proprietary business information, executive compensation and enforcement of restrictive covenants. 

Ms. Campbell graduated from Lehigh University, summa cum laude, in 1998 and earned her law degree from Harvard University in 2001.  She is a member of the Maryland and District of Columbia bars.

Ira E. Hoffman is a Chairman of the firm’s Government Contracts and International Practice Groups.  He is a highly regarded legal adviser, advocate, author and speaker on government contracts, export controls, and other international law issues.  For more than 25 years, Mr. Hoffman has focused his practice on the areas of government contracts, national security law, international trade law, international procurement, complex civil and administrative litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.   

Mr. Hoffman received his B.A. from University of Michigan, a Master of Science from London School of Economics and his J.D., cum laude, from University of Miami School of Law. He is a member of the Maryland, District of Columbia and Florida bars.
