Summary Judgment Against Age/Sex Discrimination Claims
Our client, which provides services to developmentally disabled individuals, was sued by a former employee who claimed she was discriminated against on the basis of her sex and age when she was not promoted and when her employment was ultimately terminated. After an initial verdict in favor of the former employee, we persuaded the Circuit Court of Montgomery County, Maryland to overturn the verdict due to errors by the Court during the trial. Thereafter, we obtained summary judgment dismissing the claims against our client.
