Sarah Dwyer-Heidkamp focuses her practice on estate planning and estate administration. Through the use of Last Wills and Testaments, Revocable and Irrevocable Trusts, Financial Powers of Attorney, Health Care Powers of Attorney, and Living Wills, as well as more advanced estate planning techniques, Sarah provides her clients with opportunities and solutions specifically tailored to her client’s individual needs.
Sarah also works closely with clients regarding all aspects of probate, estate administration, and trust administration, ensuring personalized attention during a difficult time. As part of this process, Sarah prepares estate tax returns at both the Federal and state levels, as well as Register of Wills filings.
In addition to her estate planning and estate administration experience, Sarah also counsels clients with regard to fiduciary litigation matters and dispute resolution. Her practice also includes assisting tax-exempt entities, including family foundations, from formation of the entity through preparation of required filings.
While attending Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, Sarah earned both her Juris Doctor, as well as her Law and Public Policy Certificate. She also served as Production Editor of the CommLaw Conspectus Law Journal. Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Political Science from Tufts University. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Massachusetts.
Prior to joining the Firm, Sarah served as Peace Corps Volunteer in Tanzania and was a Program Director with the American Red Cross of Greater Los Angeles.
