
Concentrating on emerging green building practices as a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional and closely monitoring legislation and judicial opinions affecting home builders and land developers in the region, Ms. Daley works to keep up with trends and new developments in the real estate and building markets. As a member of the Commercial Litigation Department, she advocates on behalf of prominent local and national home builders and land developers in civil litigation and dispute resolution matters in both state and federal courts, as well as assists in the preparation of their outsale contracts as compliance counsel.
Prior to joining Shulman Rogers, Ms. Daley was an associate at the construction litigation boutique of Braude & Margulies in Washington, DC, where she litigated on behalf of prime contractors and subcontractors in contractual disputes involving construction work performed on government projects.
Ms. Daley graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Maryland in College Park with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Government & Politics and Criminology & Criminal Justice. She was a College Park Scholar in International Studies and earned a Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Second Track Diplomacy. As a law student, Ms. Daley was a member of the Emory Moot Court Society, pupil of the Lamar Inn of Court, founder of the Emory Alternative Dispute Resolution Society, and student liaison for the American Bar Association Section for Dispute Resolution. She was listed in Who’s Who: American Law Students. She is licensed to practice in Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Florida.
