Melissa Bernstein is a member of the firm’s Business and Financial Services Department.  Melissa’s practice focuses on debt financing transactions for commercial lending institutions, private equity groups, and other private and public companies.  Melissa has been responsible for financings in connection with various transactions, both secured and unsecured, including for general working capital purposes, leveraged buyouts, acquisitions and mergers, and refinancing of existing debt facilities.  Melissa also regularly counsels clients on a variety of other financing matters, including real estate loans and real property secured transactions.

Melissa is also a member of the firm’s Commercial Real Estate Department focusing on acquisitions, development and leasing.  She has successfully structured, negotiated, documented and closed all types of real estate transactions, including large mixed-use and retail projects, office buildings, multi-family residential complexes, and hotel and recreational complexes.  Melissa’s leasing practice focuses on office and retail leasing, on behalf of both landlords and tenants.
