
Mr. Rogers' practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, tax and business planning. Over the past 30 years, Mr. Rogers has worked with many business entities, including start-up and early-stage business enterprises to assist them in achieving their business objectives. Mr. Rogers has assisted his clients in obtaining required resources such as seed capital, venture capital, and strategic alliances, developed various stock option plans for key employees and assisted clients in implementing succession plans for transition to the next generation of owners. He serves on the board of directors of both private and publicly held companies (founding Director of EagleBancorp) and has acted as a significant resource to those companies in that capacity.
Mr. Rogers is also the Chairman of the EagleBank Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, providing funds to fight cancer and other worthwhile charities. His accounting degree (B.S. in accounting from Hunter College of the University of New York) and his J.D. from Georgetown University, where he was a member of the Georgetown Law Journal, and his LLM in taxation from Georgetown University has allowed him to provide his clients with extensive experience in accounting, legal and tax; in his role as a business advisor, he has contributed his significant business knowledge to assist clients in making business decisions.
Mr. Rogers' clients include biotech, information tech, government contractors, internet, manufacturers, distributors, retail chains, service and professional organizations and exempt organizations.
