Rebecca Oshoway has extensive experience in real estate law, with an emphasis on commercial leasing and franchise law. She has assisted start-up franchisors in preparing franchise agreements and disclosure documents, and registering their franchises with the states that require registration. She assists clients in negotiating franchise and related agreements, updating their disclosure documents and renewing their state registrations. She also represents franchisees in negotiations and disputes with franchisors.
Ms. Oshoway has served on the editorial boards of two periodicals for real estate attorneys, Commercial Leasing Law & Strategy and Shopping Center Legal Update. She has written numerous articles about commercial leasing issues. She drafts and negotiates leases for several office building owners and shopping center owners. She has also represented many office and retail tenants in their lease negotiations.
