Mark R. Mann practices in the Firm's Commercial Litigation department, where he advocates on behalf of prominent local and national home builders and land developers, and concentrates his practice in civil litigation and dispute resolution matters.

Mr. Mann's legal career began with a clerkship for United States District Court Judge Young in the Southern District of Indiana from 1998 to 2000.  After the clerkship, he enhanced his litigation skills at a firm in McLean, Virginia advising clients in matters involving construction litigation, small business practices and estate planning for business owners.

Mr. Mann is a native of Montgomery County, growing up in Potomac, Maryland and graduating from the University of Maryland with a B.S. and B.A. in 1990 and 1992, respectively.  In 1997, he received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Thomas M. Cooley Law School, in Lansing, Michigan.  During law school, Mr. Mann was an assistant editor on law review, received numerous academic scholarships and awards, was recognized with the President's Achievement Award, and was listed in Who's Who:  American Law Students.  He is licensed to practice in Maryland, Virginia and North Carolina.
