Prior to joining Shulman  Rogers, Mr. Vincent was an associate at Berliner, Corcoran & Rowe, L.L.P., in Washington, D.C.  There, Mr. Vincent specialized in civil litigation in a wide variety of matters, handling cases involving creditors' rights, insurance defense, judgment enforcement, legal and accountant malpractice, employment law, breach-of-contract, closely held corporation disputes, defamation, bankruptcy, the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act, FBI disciplinary investigations, the Federal H-2A temporary alien agricultural worker program, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Mr. Vincent's recent noteworthy matters include:  winning a dismissal on First Amendment grounds of a defamation and invasion of privacy action against a political strategist and media consultant; winning a dismissal under the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act in a civil action by a Taiwanese businessman against the government of Taiwan; representation of one of California's largest agricultural labor contractors in an administrative proceeding before the U.S. Department of Labor under the H-2A temporary alien agricultural worker program; representation of a Swiss corporation in a multi-million dollar debt collection action in Federal district, bankruptcy and appeals courts; and representation of a New York real estate developer in a complex transactional legal malpractice action against a prominent Washington, D.C. firm.

Mr. Vincent earned his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, where he served as President of the Pope John Paul II Guild of Catholic Lawyers.  Mr. Vincent holds a B.A. in history from Oberlin College.  Shortly after graduating from law school, Mr. Vincent served as a legal fellow with the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary and counsel to the Committee's Subcommittee on Criminal Justice Oversight.  He also spent five years as a legislative aide and campaign consultant for the U.S. Senate, and he managed two campaigns for the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.  Mr. Vincent is a member and past officer of the Knights of Columbus, Rock Creek Council #2797 in Bethesda, Maryland.
