Mr. Rubin's practice areas consist of business, real estate and commercial transactions, contract law, corporate law, bankruptcy law and estate planning and administration. Mr. Rubin has negotiated and consummated numerous business transactions involving the purchase and sale of business assets, stock transfers and other proprietary interests, and secured commercial transactions between lenders and borrowers. Mr. Rubin has serviced small to multi-million dollar companies. Mr. Rubin also has substantial experience in state insolvency and federal bankruptcy laws representing debtors and creditors under Chapters 7, 11 and 13 of the United States Bankruptcy Code and has participated in the successful reorganization of several retail businesses and restaurant establishments. Mr. Rubin recently handled the complex Chapter 11 reorganization and sale of a Maryland nursing home with the successful result that all creditors were paid in full with interest and substantial proceeds were distributed to the equity security holders.
